Also, I had an odd dream last night that resulted from watching too much Doctor Who. No, it wasn't a nightmare about "Are you my mummy?" (thank the gods). I was traveling in the TARDIS with the Doctor and Jack and one or two other people who I never really saw completely, and I met this woman in some suburban place in modern times, who I found out was actually a time traveler of some sort, trying to hide the fact. I think that as the dream progressed, she started looking more and more like Saffron from Firefly. I encouraged her to come along with us, and she totally jumped at the chance. As soon as she got on board the TARDIS, though, she was trying to get as much information about the ship as she could by asking the Doctor a million and one questions, and I realized she was plotting some way of getting rid of the rest of us and stealing it. I was talking to Jack about it, and he said he was onto her too, but he was afraid that if he said anything to the Doctor, the Doctor would think he was just jealous because the woman wasn't paying more attention to Jack! But then the Doctor brought the TARDIS to this place that was supposed to be where this woman was from, or something, and she said something like, "Hey, where are we?" and he was like, "Aha! You don't recognize it? I thought this was supposed to be where you're from! You've been lying to us all along, haven't you?" and he just left her there in that place, while the rest of us flitted off in the TARDIS. I was avoiding him because I felt guilty for bringing that woman on board, but he told me she had some sort of an illusion device that made it impossible for me to see her as anything other than perfectly nice and well-intentioned, until she got on the TARDIS, and then the TARDIS's spiffy capabilities overrode it, so he didn't blame me. It was an extremely detailed and involved dream with an oddly linear plot for me. Oh, and how on earth is it that I dreamed about two extremely hot men without dreaming about doing naughty things with them? Sheesh. What's the matter with you, subconscious? Can't I have any fun? Oh well. It was interesting anyway.

Well, duh. :P They're from my mom, who decided she can't wear heels anymore and gave them to me. These have higher, skinnier heels and pointier toes than I'd pick for myself, but they are very awesome as a result. I just usually want my primary shoes to be comfier than these, but an additional pair that's a little more...not comfy? Fine!
