And there was choreography! And it was pretty ok!
1. I found a taxim I like on iTunes, and will need some help from someone with an editing tool (
dahveed76, honey? Can you help me out with this again maybe?) to chop it at 54 seconds where there's a nice long pause that works as an ending. Then I need to burn it to CD with "Hoplanda" with no gap.
2. I am not choreographing a taxim. Fuck that. What's the point? I'll dance to it. If AJ has some pointers about what she'd like to see where, I'll use those as guidelines, but a whole choreo? No way, man. Not gonna happen.
3. This makes the middle bit of "Hoplanda" easier too, since that's taxim. I'll do one that's a bit higher energy than the intro taxim, maybe working in some spins too. But again, no choreo. Fortunately, it's very easy to tell when the taxim is coming to an end.
4. If the end of "Hoplanda" repeats the beginning, it's even easier still! Honestly, with a song this wild and fast, I don't want to wear myself out doing eighty million different things.
Cool. I'm sure it will need work, but there are several weeks left to the recital.
