For those coming to the barbecue today

Hi folks,

Turns out we now have twice as many people coming today as we expected when we went and bought food yesterday. We have 13 people who will be here, now. I have:

* 25 lbs of ribs
* a quart of coleslaw
* a request out to F to bring some cornbread (and I can whip up a batch if it doesn't get made)
* some fruit salad (not a ton)
* some cookies (sugarcane lime)
* some Caesar salad
* guacamole and chips and some salsa
* planning on getting beer (plan was to get a 12-pack

* Geoogo will bring hot dogs and buns!

This isn't enough to feed that many people. I'm willing to pick up some pulled pork or chicken at Redbones when we go get sauce there, but it would really be helpful if other people could also bring some stuff. Some sweet stuff wouldn't suck, but we need FOOD food--dinner food--more than anything else. A six pack of beer wouldn't go amiss either.

Thanks for understanding, guys. Usually, I like to be able to say that it's a potluck or not right up front, but this time, it just expanded on us unexpectedly, so things changed.

ETA: We do have a small round charcoal grill which will be available, if anyone wanted to bring something grillable!

No worries. If we do add our two appetites to the table today (still not sure), we will bring beer and real food. (We even have a BBQ place right down the street from us, so. . . . )

Thanks. Don't worry overmuch about it, but if you do come, the additional food would be appreciated. :) Hope you can make it! I still need to return Doctor Who!

I'll definitely bring something - my first thought is meat from McKinnon's, but if there's anything else that would be helpful I'll oblige. Also some beer.

Actually, since we're already getting some hot dogs, maybe something side-ish? Potato salad, or something? Veggies?

I could do that. Maybe something from Blue Ribbon if no other inspiration strikes me. Or Dave's Fresh Pasta if they have anything that looks good.
