Weekend fun

So, after surviving my first attempt at karaoke without being horribly mocked (yay!), I did the following this weekend:

1. Made duck stock from a duck carcass I had sitting in my freezer from a roast
2. Went grocery shopping
3. Read a lot of The Bastard of Istanbul, which I am LOVING
4. Ate dinner at Fajitas & Ritas, being reminded again that I am spoiled, SPOILED by Rudy's
5. Saw Jesus Christ Superstar, which was teh awesome
6. Walked around the Arnold Arboretum and the Wilson Mountain Reservation and drove around looking at house porn
7. Ate dinner at the Summer Shack
8. Watched the DW Series 3 episode "Family of Blood"--part two of a two-parter with a damned good but somehow unsatisfying ending
9. Slept badly and had a dream that combined elements of DW with elements of The Bastard of Istanbul (at least it was interesting)

I've read part of it, and really liked it, but I think I should probably send it back to you. I don't think it's going to continue to hold my interest long enough to finish it.
