Wow, I haven't made a real update in a few days. Here's what's been going on:

1. Saturday's bridal shower was a smashing success and a whole lot of fun!

2. Sunday's cookout was likewise! We had tons of great food, we walked on the beach, and we chatted and drank and played with cameras, generally having a great time.

3. Monday was one of those "I am brain dead" days. Nice weather, though. The boy and I walked around Harvard Square a lot, and did some grilling of our own (barbecued chicken) in the evening.

4. Tuesday was a very productive work day. I made yummy meatloaf for me to eat while watching La Cite des Enfants Perdus and for pierceheart to eat while on his conference call, which lasted forever, poor guy. I hadn't seen that movie in ages, and was reminded anew of how awesomely cool it is. Damn, I love Jeunet and Caro.

5. Tonight, I am salsa-ing with the boy. It was fun last week, it should be fun this week! We'll see how much I remember. :P


I think I'm going to hit Garment District on my break soon...
