badseed1980My father just e-mailed me this link to NPR, where they have posted a free Tom Waits concert (audio only). There's also an interview with Tom Waits (conducted by a Mr. Tom Waits), and a link to a YouTube video with highlights from a press conference with him. Out-freakin'-standing!

Date: 2008-08-01 02:19 pm (UTC)Wow. The timing is so fantastic. I'm starting work on a novel, and Tom Waits is one of its inspirations. I created a playlist of his music some time back, mixed in with a little Loreena McKennitt, and called it "Whiskey and Wings." Seems like a perfect parallel to "Glitter and Doom," which I had no idea he'd called this tour!
