Ok, Torchwood? ADDICTIVE.

I've seen a few episodes, but now I'm watching all of Season 1 (thanks to my lovely kilt-boy), and DAMN! We've made it...just over halfway through, now? Something like that. I really like seeing more of the characters, and learning more about their personalities and histories. They become so much more interesting. I'm finding that I like Gwen Cooper the same way I liked Rose Tyler on Doctor Who. Owen Harper is still annoying, but in a "damn, he's GOOD at being annoying, and much more complex than I thought" kind of way. Jack is...Jack. *swoon* When that man is walking, I could watch him from behind all day long. Yum.

We made pad thai last night. Just over five years from the first time he made me pad thai. :)

On the down side, I got into work late today even though I got to Kendall on time. The shuttle never showed before the MBTA bus did, so I took the MBTA bus, which then proceeded to get stuck in traffic and move about one block in 15 minutes. GAH.

Torchwood is great, that's for sure.

However, I heard that the next "season" will only be a 5-episode mini-series. So sad!

WHAT? They're depriving us of Doctor Who AND Torchwood? I'm going to cry. :(

Torchwood is hit or miss, quality-wise, but if neither the killer orgasm gas nor the cyberwoman put you off Season 1 you'll probably enjoy the rest of the season.

Those two were the low points, in my opinion.

Fortunately, I watch TW as sheer escapism. I'm not looking for high quality. :)
