You know what I'd like?

badseed1980I'd like it if one year, I found myself (and a lot of other people found themselves) saying, "Wow, you know what? BOTH (or all) the major candidates are so great, it's going to be a tough choice in November."
Not likely to happen, I know, because parties exist to represent different ideas and values in politics, but it would be nice if I could at least say, "Both of these candidates are respectable people who would make good leaders, even if I don't agree with all their positions." I don't think that's been the case for a long, long time.
I still want Vetinari in charge. He may be a tyrant, but he gets stuff done, and doesn't much give a damn what people do unless it's a REAL threat, whether that's warmongering stupidity or street miming. :)
