And on another note, I may be asking for a new iPod for Christmas this year from my parents. The battery on mine seems to be taking and holding less and less of a charge as time goes on. That might be because of the soaking it got this summer, I don't know. It might just be that the battery's old. This IS a 3rd-generation, after all. I don't know how long those batteries last. These days, I can get about a couple of albums' worth of music out of it before it dies. I don't think it's fully charging because I can leave it charging all night (and it will show that it's charging, and show a big "fully charged" icon in the morning, but when I take it off the dock, the little battery icon shows only a partial charge. If I replace it on the dock after that, it will start charging again, and by the time I have to leave for work, it's still not showing a full charge. Meh. I want to be able to hear more music than this.

Yep. When DW replaced his old iPod's (2nd gen?) battery with a newer (non OEM) battery, it lasted hours more than it had even when new. Granted, doing it yourself voides the warranty, but she bought it secondhand anyway. But $10 for a battery kit is still cheaper than a whole new iPod (unless, of course, you want an upgrade anyway).
