Horrorscope etc.
Oct. 8th, 2008 09:16 amFrom Rob Brezsny's Free Will Astrology:
I like this! One thing I like about Brezsny's horrorscopes is that they just give you interesting ideas for taking a new perspective on life. Now, what would this be for me? I know that everything about me all combined certainly makes me unique, but what thing do I do, what role do I fill, that really defines me? *ponders*
Last night's date night was lovely. I feel a bit spoiled, getting taken out to dinner by
pierceheart TWICE this week for very nice meals! :) Friday night and Saturday, we're going down to visit my parents. That should be nice. It's been a while since I saw them, and even longer for
pierceheart. There's a chance we might hit the Newport Oktoberfest on Saturday, which sounds fun.
OK, back to work for me. I hate researching someone who has an eponymous company that is very big and well-known. It means that when I'm looking up info about THEM, it's all just references to their company. Oy. No way around that, really, since eliminating the word "Corporation" from search results so as not to get "Joe Schmoe Corporation" would possibly cut out some useful stuff.
For the next week, Capricorn, be an expanded and intensified version of yourself. In other words, do what's most unique about you, but do it even more and better and clearer than you normally do. If, for example, your specialty is being an emotionally intelligent organizer who artfully creates order, do that with even more flair than usual. If you have an exceptional knack for building structures that bring out the best in people, go crazy with that skill. It's a perfect moment for you to be bigger than life. Why? Because you have more power than usual to change the world around you.
