--Nope. Never even dated anyone from my high school.
Did you car pool to school?
--Senior year, I drove a few friends to school. I was the last to get my license, but the only one in the area with my own (old, used, crappy) car.
What kind of car did you have?
--At that time, my dad's old Nissan Stanza.
It's Friday night...where are you?
--Probably chilling out at home with my parents. Monday through Thursday I was at karate, Friday nights were usually crash-and-relax, and then I'd go hang out with my friends Saturday night. Sometimes Friday night instead, in which case it was often the movies, Applebee's, Chase Farm, or Joe's basement with the pool and ping-pong tables.
What kind of job did you have in high school?
--Babysitting. I didn't get a "real" job until after graduation.
What do you do now?
--I'm a prospect researcher at MIT.
Were you a party animal?
--Nope, I was a good girl. I would stay out late with my friends and drank at my parents' parties, but I was not excessive or rebellious. There was nothing to rebel against.
Were you considered a flirt?
--Nah. I had one boyfriend, didn't have the confidence to flirt with anyone else.
Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
--Yes. We didn't have orchestra. I was in band and spent a year in chorus.
Did you ever get suspended/expelled?
--Nope. I was good, remember?
Can you sing the fight song?
--We didn't have one with words, just music. I could play it.
Who was/were your favorite teacher(s)?
--Mr. Sousa, my French teacher for five years, and Mr. Rossignol, a bizarre, snarky, but challenging and interesting English teacher.
Where did you sit during lunch?
--At a cafeteria table with my friends.
What was your school's full name?
--Lincoln High School
What was your school mascot?
--A lion
If you could go back and do it again, would you?
--Nah, it was ok, but once was enough.
What do you remember most about Graduation?
--Having to make a speech. Roz (Mr. Rossignol), made me rewrite three times.
Who did you take to prom Senior year?
--My then-boyfriend, RM
Did you have fun at prom?
--Yeah, it was fun. Cold on the beach after, though.
Do you still talk to the person you went to Prom with?
--Yeah, occasionally. It was great hearing from him recently.
Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?
--I WOULD have if we'd HAD one!
Do you still talk to people from school?
--I talk to
creidh and TV, and occasionally to HW and JR.
--Nope. Never even dated anyone from my high school.
