Happiness! The boy called. :)

He has safely arrived at his final destination. And he's growing a mustache, the git. But everyone's doing it, and so he is too (*rolls eyes*). It was good to hear from him. He's doing well right now, which I'm sure everyone will be happy to hear.

And I am going to be helping tigira and meadmaker in a public circle tomorrow night. Yikes! Nervous, but excited. :)

Other news: I am knitting the world's softest acrylic yarn into a baby blanket for the wee'un of J and J. It's acrylic because that stuff is drool-proof, and can be washed. The pattern is easy and fun, and it's looking fab! Yay!

My cell phone is nearly dead. Kilt-boy called me just in time.

I have pics of Erik's installation where he had one, and since the Army had very specific restrictions about length, it was so short it looked Hitler-esque. Bleah, I say again.

Yeah. I told him he'd better shave it off by the time he comes back. He assured me he would, that he was just doing it because "It's a thing the group is doing." Oy. Boys. Glad you're with me on this one. :) No cheesy porn-star mustaches, and no Hitleresque mustaches either!!!

I'm really glad to hear he's doing well! Thank you for the update! I've been meaning to get a letter in the mail to him. Maybe I will do so next week after I've dealt with taxes and mortgage application stuffs.
