End of season 4
Dec. 30th, 2008 08:45 amThe boy and I just finished watching season 4 of Doctor Who last night. Whoa. No, that's not it. WHOA. David Tennant was a bit annoying to me throughout seasons 2 and 3, but in this one, he finally started to grow on me, especially in certain episodes. This last two-parter, especially. Of course, I feel like there were some major plot teases in there. Still, it fulfilled my need for big drama in a TV series, and it sort of wiped the slate clean for the next storyline. I'm interested to see what happens next. When do WE get the Christmas special?
Also, I am still dying to know who's going to be the next Doctor. And I think I need to watch some more movies with Christopher Eccleston in them--the documentary thingy at the end of the series showed clips from season 1, and reminded me of how much I like him, and how little I've actually seen of his work outside Doctor Who (though I at least know he was brilliant in Shallow Grave). Oh, and Good should be coming out tomorrow. SQUEE. Viggo Mortensen AND Jason Isaacs. :)

Date: 2008-12-30 06:14 pm (UTC)My first doctor was #4 Tom Baker, who I also loved.
I remember a game my brother, cousin and I played as kids. We'd sit at the top of the stairs and slide down on our butts, one stair at a time. At each one we'd say, "I don't like this doctor," and then we'd get to the bottom and say we LIKED that doctor. Weird game, but we were weird kids. I must have been 6 or 7.

I download everything, which means I get it less than half a day after it airs in Britain, generally. Well worth the effort.)
