Yeah, I've packed on some weight since I took that shot. I'm actually thinking about JOINING Weight Watchers at work. This year, we get a weight loss program reimbursement included in our health plan. It's for $150. A 17-week session is $186. I'd be paying only $36. And yet, I'm not sure I want to attend meetings. If I could get the reimbursement for the online program, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, it doesn't count. Meh.
I think I'll stick to my "bootleg" WW program instead. But I will STICK to it. I think having that adorable bento box might help with that. :)

Date: 2009-01-20 03:40 pm (UTC)I so relate to this because I've been there and not sure if you know that. But I lost over 100lbs back in 2005-2006.
You're gorgeous anyway but hella sexy picture.

Date: 2009-01-20 03:45 pm (UTC)I used to weigh 175 (in this pic), and got down to 145 during late 2004. I've been as low as 135 (in that pic), and now I'm somewhere between 145 and 150 again (PMS and the time when I weighed myself last meant that I was higher than I normally am). I want to get down to somewhere between 130 and 135.

Date: 2009-01-20 04:09 pm (UTC)Maintenance IS the hardest part and WW doesn't really support that much in that endeavor outside of free meetings and occasional mentions in meetings by your leader. STaying motivated long-term can be difficult, but I think the paradigm with regard to diet and exercise in the west is changing because of the obesity epidemic and healthier portions are returning and healthier options. It'll get eaiser eventually
I myself have gained about 15 from my lowest weight and about 12lbs from my happy weight that I'm trying to take back off. Too many no-counting days and freebie weeks and days lsat year with too much alcohol. I realize now how much difference alcohol makes.

Date: 2009-01-20 06:23 pm (UTC)i'm easing into the idea myself. without a "box" to workout in, i can only approximate, but i'm upping my intensity slowly but surely - damage bad. got weight to drop and muscles to build.
