General stuff
Jan. 22nd, 2009 10:30 am1. Bento today: more of Indian spiced rice, half-assed Eggbeater tamagoyaki, sauteed spinach, carrots, celery. Note to self: get better at making tamagoyaki. Even if you don't do it "right", you can do better than that.
2. Maybe I will reward myself with a sexy nurse costume when I reach my goal weight! :D I'd love to shop for one at the Flea, but I've spent too much money recently, and also, I might get one that looks a little too big on me when I have lost another 12 pounds or so. Better to wait.
3. I got VENISON last night. I went to McKinnon's to pick up some cheap-ass meat since I was in Davis anyway. I got chicken breasts and center-cut pork chops...and then I saw the big bastard frozen venison steaks. Holy crap!!! I got one that's a pound and a half. It's one of those steaks that has a small cylindrical bone going through the middle, like some of the lamb steaks I get. Is that a leg cut? I imagine so, but I don't know for sure. Anyway...yay! Venison! And I have mushrooms, too...
