Today's bento: I went to the dark side. I did. It feels both exciting and shameful. I made...octodogs. Mine aren't that nice because I used a knife instead of a purpose-designed cutter, but they are still OMG CUTE. No, I'm not going to start running around and squealing, "KAWAII!!!" all the time now, I promise. Nor will I start dressing up like Sailor Moon.

Anyway, I used those really-low-fat hot dogs (which are much better than they were when I was younger), and I have some steamed zucchini and spinach with cajun seasoning, and I'm going to eat some Ak-Maks too. I saw a picture where someone put Ak-Maks in a bento recently, and I was happy to see that someone else eats them!

Already, my jeans are feeling less horrendously tight than they were feeling on Monday. That's a good thing. :D

Tonight, kyrian03 and I get to drool over Christopher Eccleston in uniform (mmmmm) and nosh on some yummy food. Tomorrow, I have brunch at Sidney's at 10. Then I need to run some errands (new measuring spoons, doormat, and gloves, maybe?) and I might need to (or at least want to) make something snacky to bring to the pajama party that I don't have to feel guilty about eating. :) Then, it's off to the pajama party. Hmm. Looks like two buses will get me there in about an hour. Not too bad!

OK, must return to work now. These people won't research themselves.

Those octodogs in the picture look like they are straight from the package. Do you cut them and then brown/warm them, do that first, or just not bother?
