Quick update-y stuff

badseed19801. Saturday night, I went to a friend's birthday party. It was lots of fun, involved a GIANT baked brie ("it's like cheese!"), was graced by the presence of two adorable kittens, and apparently made me the new best friend of a little (3-year-old?) girl.
2. The compote I made for the pork last night came out AWESOME.
3. I got more work done today than I have been doing lately. Good. My brain's been on vacation without me.
4. Dance tonight! Maybe I should ask P. in my class what exercises she's been doing to get rid of her sciatica. Apparently, they've worked. The back of my right thigh has been hurting lately, feeling sort of like a muscle cramp. It's like what happens when I sit down for too long. But I haven't been sitting more than usual. I wonder if it could be sciatica.
5. I found this hot cereal at Trader Joe's that has oats, wheat, barley, and rye in it. It's organic. It has less calories, less fat, and more fiber than plain oatmeal, for the same size serving! Sweet! I was thinking about buying flaked wheat at Harvest Co-Op the other day to replace my usual oatmeal, but it was more calories per serving than oatmeal. This stuff is perfect. I just hope it tastes good!
6. My building here at work has no hot water. None. We did this morning, but it vanished sometime before lunch. Washing one's hands is painful. Meh. Hope they fix that soon--the facilities folks have been alerted.
