I love starting the week on a Tuesday.

Good morning! Why yes, I AM feeling rather bright-eyed and bushy tailed this morning. Yes, in spite of the fact that my cat spent about half the night walking all over me and stealing my blankets. It might be because I got so much sleep the night before. It might just be the fact that it's the day after a long weekend.

Speaking of the weekend, it was quite good. The Flea was fun. Dinner on Valentine's Day was good, though the appetizer and dessert were better than the entree. I did try a funky cocktail I'd never had before. It consisted of gin, dry vermouth, and champagne, garnished with a twist of lemon. Very tasty. It's like the bastard offspring of a champagne cocktail and a martini. Yum!

I did put on a little weight due to the weekend's non-dieting (though some of that might possibly be related to wacky hormonal issues I've been having). So, I'm back to being good this week. I packed my bento last night and everything.

This week's schedule is as follows:

Tonight, Diesel for a little while. I shall bring knitting, I think.
Tomorrow, skee-ball and dinner.
Thursday, no idea. Probably a quiet evening in.
Friday, again no idea. I THINK pierceheart is free that evening, so maybe a date if I'm lucky.
Saturday, no plans whatsoever. Hmm, maybe I'll have to make some! I should certainly make a point of getting some more black socks. All mine are wholly holey, the unholy things. But perhaps an evening with friends would be nice too.
Sunday, free, probably for housekeeping and other laid-back stuff.
