The good and the bad
Apr. 1st, 2009 09:45 amFirst, the bad: a former high school classmate of mine passed away a couple days ago, quite suddenly. He wasn't anyone I knew well, but friends of mine knew him better. He went to junior prom (I think it was that) with a friend of mine. Meh. Sad.
Now, the good, because there's more of that, even if it's little stuff.
I have Irish Cream flavored coffee today, for a change. I don't like flavored coffee all the time, but I figured once in a while when I'm just making it for myself would be nice.
I have a very nice bento. It consists of a half-sandwich of hummus, date, and carrot on light 7-grain bread, tamagoyaki made from half a cup of Eggbeaters, red bell pepper, mushrooms, tomatoes, and carrots.
Today is the birthday of Einsturzende Neubauten (who are in my icon). Yay! On this day in 2000, I was in Berlin to watch their twentieth anniversary concert. Pure fucking magic. I didn't even remember that this was their birthday at first, but I was looking for music to listen to on my iPod, and decided on them. Not just them, but the album that came out in early 2000, songs from which were played at that concert! Then, I remembered. :) Keep on being as creative and breathtakingly awesome as you are, guys.
Moby Dick has a bubble nest again!
I'm going to RI in a couple of days to meet up with an old friend! Yay!
