It's Friday, people!

badseed1980Where was the DJ who used to say that? WBRU? I don't remember. Anyhow, it IS Friday, and I am happy about that!
I had to bring my backpack AND an overstuffed bag with me to work today, because I'm leaving right from work to go to the train station and head to RI. I didn't pack coffee (trying to lighten the load), but I DID pack breakfast and lunch, because I knew it would be hard to find anything good for me if I didn't. Plus, I have a very cute lunch. It's a mini-turkey burger on a "bun" made of two mini-pitas, with ketchup and mustard and a sweet pickle chip, accompanied by another mini-pita, some shrimp, and red pepper and spinach. The burger is adorable. :) And now, I can show my mom my bento box and hear her gush about how cute it is.
I got a coupon from Borders that's good until Sunday, for 30% off any item. I might just use that to get this. Gods know I've been dying to get my hands on those movies for long enough. I just have to make sure I get home early enough on Sunday that I have time (and energy) to go out to Borders and then make some yummy comfort food for myself and the boy, who will NOT be having a happy weekend.
