Apr. 29th, 2009 08:48 amWhy have I never been to Cafe Barada before, though I used to live very near it and passed by it a number of times?
Man, they have some TASTY food. Nice service, too, if a little slow. Baba ghanouj, Syrian salad, and falafel sandwich...OM NOM NOM.
pierceheart's meatgasm was also very tasty. He got the combination plate with beef, lamb, and chicken kebabs and kafta. I have half my sandwich left for lunch today, and the boy has more than half of his enormous combination plate. They give you plenty of food! Tonight I'm going to make myself a lentil and bulgur dish and a salad, all Middle Eastern style, because I'm all about the vegetarian Middle Eastern food right now.
Tonight, I need to run to Harvard Square to grab some conditioner and some knitting needles. Then I go home, do some laundry, and pack for tomorrow's jaunt to Portland for the NEDRA conference. Gotta make sure I print out my PowerPoint before I go so I can practice there tomorrow in my hotel room! From tonight through Saturday afternoon, I'm a busy girl.
