Daily haiku?
Jun. 19th, 2009 01:34 pmI have no idea if I'll keep this up, but someone on my friends list just posted a haiku, and it gave me the idea of writing a daily haiku. So here's one:
Barren rocky shore
One flower lifts up its head
Defying the wind
Inspired by a windy beach on Inis Mor, which looked like the surface of the moon, all pitted rocks. There was a tiny pink flower there, though, growing up out of the rocks all alone. I have a picture of it in my photo album at home.
Future haiku might be serious or silly. :)

no haiku, no post.
(OK I know these are supposed to have some nature in them but I'll be damned if i can put an allusion to a running creek or snowy field along side the word OMG)
