Jul. 11th, 2009 10:52 pmFlea today! I ended up wearing my corset and the crinoline and short black skirt combo, with my patent leather wrist cuff and a dog tag of
pierceheart's, just 'cause I miss him. I stayed for quite a while, bought nothing, and chatted with a lot of people. These included:
vapidblackrose (in an awesome new corset)
tisana (the auntie!)
miss_lisa_ma (who I would have seen last night if I'd decided to go out dancing)
dalious (who looks very different, but hugs just the same as ever)
sunspiral (surrounded by admirers as usual)
S, my favorite pornographer (who may or may not have an LJ).
It was quite fun. After I left, I decided to go for a stroll along Mass. Ave. I ended up popping in at Lush, just for the heck of it, with no intention of buying anything. Then I saw they had a new cleanser called Dark Angels. It's got rhassoul mud and charcoal in it, and is kinda scrubby. Now, none of their other cleansers (and I've tried them all) have done all that much for me, though I love the smell of Angels On Bare Skin. This one, though...it's exfoliating, it doesn't leave my skin feeling like there's a film of oil on it, nor does it feel tight. It's messy as hell to use outside the shower, but I think it just might be awesome! I'll have to wait and see how it is over time.
Tonight's dinner was a stir fry of thinly sliced sirloin, garlic scapes, and broccoli in hoisin sauce, accompanied by a salad of tomato and watermelon with basil, feta, and balsamic vinaigrette. Nom.
Tomorrow evening, I'm having
vervain13 over for girlie cocktails. During the day, I plan on going back to Intimacy (considering exchanging the nude full-cup bra I got for a balconette), getting some blueberries for blueberry-thyme martinis, and possibly making a candle.
