Holy smoke!

The building right next to pierceheart's office had a partial collapse about an hour and a half ago! Big chunks of concrete facade fell from the roof and smashed on the ground. Fortunately, no one was hurt. I'm glad for once that the boy was on the other side of the continent!

The Bostonchannel.com and several other local news sites have photos. It's really, REALLY ugly. We're talking divine intervention that nobody was underneath when it gave way...right next door to his office front door.

And suddenly, I'm kinda okay with him being a continent away, too.

I just saw the uncut video feed from TheBostonChannel.com (http://www.thebostonchannel.com/video/20037355/index.html). If pierceheart had parked in one of the metered spaces in that block, Binky would most certainly have snuffed it.

I first heard about this just described as a 'partial building collapse', which sounds even worse than what actually happened.
