I usually try to keep most of my knitting blather on my Knitting Geeks filter, but I just need to brag about finishing my skirt! It's this pattern. I made it in red, with a black ribbon. It's unbelievably cute, and fits me perfectly! As soon as I can, I'll get some pictures up. :)

When it first came out, I thought, "Oh my gods, that is SO HOT. I must make it! Someday! Of course, "someday" turned into over two years after it debuted. Which really, it shouldn't have. It's a truly easy pattern. I revisited it when I found out that a fellow knitter had found a source for large quantities of bamboo yarn in the right weight at a cheap price, that was available in many colors. Total cost of this skirt (not counting the set of size 4 circs I bought which are reusable) was about $35, AND I have a good amount of leftover yarn.

You know, I might actually consider doing that someday. But not for a while yet. If I ever need a long and really simple project, I'll think about it.
