Babysitting, for the kids of neighbor families, starting when I was 11 years old. One of the first kids for whom I ever babysat was killed in an accident a few years back. My first actual EMPLOYMENT was as a cashier at K-Mart at the Lincoln Mall, for one summer, right after I graduated from high school. I applied there in the hopes of being able to work with some of my high school friends like
creidh, but I got put on different shifts. It pretty much sucked there. The only nifty thing was finding a buffalo nickel in my till one day.
