Plans?

I am a planner. I am a Capricorn, so it's hardly surprising. I am currently having a very hard time planning, though, because I can't for the life of me tell if I'm getting sick or not, and I don't know what kind of sick my boyfriend is.

1. If pierceheart has swine flu, I can't see J at all this week, because his sister has lupus, and her immune issues mean he can't be exposed to it for fear of infecting her, which would be bad. They share a house, so he can't just not see her.

2. If I'm getting sick, I want to know about it. I've had a really mild tickle-in-the-throat/cough for about 24 hours now. It hasn't worsened, and it's my only symptom as far as I can tell. If it gets worse, there will be problems with me doing my presentation tomorrow. I wonder if I'd be able to do my bit from home, using my cell phone to call in while I do the webinar. Would that even work? I'd have to ask.

3. If I'm NOT getting sick and pierceheart DOESN'T have swine flu, I need to make plans for how/when/where to see J, which is complicated. And will probably be rushed.

Make a plan for how to see J, and then have a fallback plan.

I sort of kind of do, ish. I can either go down tomorrow night to see him, or he can come see me Wednesday, or we can not see each other. Frankly, I'm kind of at the point where sick or not, I don't want to travel down there. But he can't spend Wednesday night, even if you DO go see L. So we wouldn't be able to spend the night together unless I go down there tomorrow night.

I'm just feeling tired and grumpy and frustrated and not sure if I'm being paranoid or completely incautious.

Oh, dear. I certainly hope that pierceheart doesn't have the swine flu! But whether that's what he has or not, I definitely empathize with the feeling of medical crap, er, stuff getting in the way of seeing one's boyfriend/ girlfriend. I started seeing N right around the same time as I started having my weird symptoms, and my doctor's appointments keep getting in the way of our dates.
