Feeling better.
Nov. 13th, 2009 08:31 amI slept about 10 hours last night, amazingly. I expected to wake up and find out it was about 6:30 or so, but it was 8 when I looked at the clock. Awesome.
By dinner time last night, my temperature had already started dropping and I had enough appetite to eat a good-sized dinner. My fever was actually gone by the time I went to bed, though I still had some of the aches from it remaining. When I woke up this morning, even those were gone. Now I just feel like I have a normal cold. It's a relief. I'm still not at work: sneezy and sniffly as I am, it's best to stay home and recuperate another day. But with some decongestant, I will be pretty good, and will be able to do things like wash dishes and knit without wanting to die. Yay!
Today's my friend D's birthday. It's also the day I picked for Lucy's birthday, since she was born sometime in November and this is almost mid-way through the month and easy to remember. Plus, the potential for it falling on a Friday (as it does this year) is kinda cool, for a black cat! Happy birthday, Woogie!

Date: 2009-11-13 03:29 pm (UTC)I watch my woman knit and crochet, and I want to die when I see it, I cant believe people actually LIKE it. The phrases I hear from her make me blush. And my grandma was always drunk when she did it. You may still have a fever because you are looking forward to it. OH LORD YOU NEED MORE MEDS!!
(I will change my tune when my woman is done with my Dr. Who Scarf....)

Date: 2009-11-14 12:27 pm (UTC)Agree about stitchers staying warm in winter. I just got a slipper pattern off Ravelry, I may try making them for myself instead of buying a new pair from somewhere.
