As usual, I will be going to my aunt and uncle's house in Rhode Island, along with most of the rest of my extended family. I wouldn't mind trying my hand at hosting one day, though. I do prefer a mostly-traditional menu. I like roast turkey with a bread-and-giblet stuffing. I like sweet potatoes, but WITHOUT marshmallows. I don't do green bean casserole: we've never had it on our Thanksgiving table. I like my own homemade, whole-berry cranberry sauce. I like mashed potatoes and gravy. One thing I do like is a variety of vegetable dishes, and those aren't necessarily a firm part of tradition. Tourtiere is usually served on our Thanksgiving table, and I like that too, though it's not really traditional for most people. Oh, and I like pie for dessert. Pumpkin always rules. I tend to LOVE autumnal foods in general, so Thanksgiving is always awesome for me.

I'm glad we don't have to travel out of town/state!
