Good things

1. My mom has joined Kiva, and is now a member of the Blue Star Wicca & Friends lending group! She's made two loans already. :)

2. I just had a rather yummy shepherd's pie with mixed veggies on the side from the cafe upstairs. Better lunch than I feared I'd have, since I didn't bring my own today.

3. Tonight, I get to hang out with tigira and others to be crafty! Socializing AND knitting? What could be better? Oh yeah...sex AND chocolate. But this is fun too!

4. I sent an e-mail to J. First one I've sent him since he dumped me. We'll see how that goes, but I'm glad I did it.

5. My current weight is about what I weighed at the Flea last year. I'd had to drop about eight pounds after Arisia to get there, last year, so I'm fairly pleased with myself.

6. I have an excuse to go to Penzey's soon. There are spices that I actually need to buy. And of course, I'll be sniffing and tasting others as well. AND collecting recipe cards.

Yeah, it's in Arlington. The Boston metro area sent in the most postcards when they were doing their "where should we open our next store?" contest a few years back, so we got it! I've been several times. They rock.

New Penzey's catalog has a free cajun spice coupon! Which is bizarre because on Weds. night I was looking for my cajun spice and I cannot find it...

I got that too, and it's funny because I was just thinking, "Gee, I don't use my Cajun seasoning that often. I should use it more!" :)
