When I completed the brief I'd been working on, I went ahead and ordered that fuchsia costume! Apparently, their delivery time is generally 3-5 business days. That's it! I can't wait!
My dance teacher was very happy to hear that I was ordering a decent costume. She said she was impressed by how I didn't go crazy on my dance clothing purchases like some people, but that I deserve a good costume! Oh, I am SO excited. It really is about time.
On another positive note, our building is closing at 2 today, so I'll be leaving soon. Yay! :)

Date: 2010-02-10 08:47 pm (UTC)I tend to think that if someone can afford a costume, and wants one - there's nothing wrong with that. I know a gal that has dozens of costumes but doesn't perform at all. She just likes to wear them at her house, for her husband. Who am I to tell her she can't have a costume just because she isn't a professional dancer? She clearly has the expendable income and enjoys it.

Date: 2010-02-10 11:41 pm (UTC)I think that last comment was to make me feel better about "going crazy" over costumes...but I am doing much better with my addiction now. In fact, I am selling costumes. Well, failing to sell costumes, but nonetheless.
That said, there is a sale on Pharaonics and a 6 week guarantee at Dahlal and I REALLY want to order something.
