Positives and negatives

badseed1980- Apparently, the power went off briefly (for less than two hours) last night. This meant that my alarm did NOT go off at six. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pierceheart woke me up at 6:40, freaking out because he had to be at work at 7:00. Fortunately, he realized that I wasn't at fault for the failure of the alarm.
+ I still managed to get out the door on time: dressed, made up, with breakfast and lunch in the bag, teeth brushed and flossed. I didn't get out early enough to walk to Sullivan, but given the rain, I didn't much mind taking the bus instead.
- Yeah, that damned hole in the pipe downstairs in the basement. Gah.
+ The landlord came right over, and though he didn't have the tools to fix it right then, he said he'd do it today, and he identified it as the drainpipe for the shower in the apartment above ours. I told the upstairs neighbors about it and asked them not to use the shower until the pipe got fixed, so we shouldn't have to deal with much water. Plus,pierceheart slapped a patch on it (plastic bag and duct tape) so that any random drips shouldn't cause problems.
+ Dance tonight. Since I don't have PMS this time around, my back shouldn't be too stiff to do anything. Good.
- Lousy Smarch weather! Apparently we won't be getting a sunny day until FRIDAY.
