Mar. 3rd, 2010 09:46 amThe weather's pretty icky today, but the day is still off to a good start. I managed to prep my lunch from scratch this morning, even though I didn't do anything the night before, and still got to leave in time to walk to Sullivan. Sweet. Lunch is tuna salad (made with light mayo, stoneground mustard, dill, and shallot salt), a whole wheat English muffin, and zucchini, red pepper, and long beans stir fried with a drizzle of sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and a dash of cayenne, and an apple for dessert.
Last night we went to Diesel, and got to hang out with some groovy people. That was fun. Before I knew it, it was 6:30 and getting on towards dinner time. By that time, I was really getting tired (maybe the result of the headache I had), so
pierceheart was kind enough to fix dinner. We had leftover chicken slop (frozen after Arisia) and gai lan with hoisin and ginger and sesame oil, since I had forgotten that we didn't have lettuce for a salad.
I'm looking forward to going to visit my parents this weekend. I haven't seen them since Christmas, and
pierceheart hasn't seen them since Thanksgiving.
That's about it right now, I think.
