RIP Peter Steele

This time it seems to be for real: Peter Steele died yesterday of heart failure. He was only 48. Blah. I was never a raging TON fan, but I liked them pretty well, and I had major lust for Peter. Somehow, it seems wrong to drool over Playgirl pics of the dead. :(

If it's true, it's an amazing voice that's been silenced. Some friends of mine back home on LI are in a band that often opens for TON.

Mmm-hmm. I was just thinking that his spirit would probably approve of me thinking, after writing that entry, "'Playgirl Pictures of the Dead' would be a great name for a band!"
