funny how every town around Cambridge has a boil water order but not Cambridge. very odd.

That's because Cambridge gets it's water from Fresh Pond Reservoir, while the other towns get it from Quabbin in Western MA (where the water main break was).

Cambridge has its own municipal drinking water supply, which is still OK.

I was just thinking how nice it would be if our swimming pool were open this weekend. Suddenly, I'm not so keen on it anymore.
