Infernal Revenue Service
Apr. 12th, 2004 05:12 pmJust sent off my taxes...W00t!!! :) I know, I know, last minute and all that. So sue me. I did 'em, and I did 'em on time, and that's what counts.
This was the first time I prepared them all by myself without any help from my dad. He helped me the first time I had to file. The second time, he did them because my grandmother had just died and the trips to RI and stuff made it hard for me to find the time. This time, it was all me. I did it right, I think. If I was right, I should be getting a buttload of money back. It's down to all those student loan interest payments, really. That was awesome. :) And since I only made about 10% of my year's income in RI, I don't have to pay much income tax at all over there. I should be getting a nice, tidy direct deposit from the IRS and the Mass Department of Revenue, and a nice check from the RI Department of Taxation. Very satisfying. If I end up owing money, I'm fucking well going to H&R Block next year.
Damn. Just realized I missed the end of the business day for the T lost and found. I'll try them again tomorrow.
I have leftover salmon and dill chowder at home, but my girly hormones are at that point where they are clamouring for pizza instead. Pepperoni pizza, as opposed to my usual yuppie-style shrimp and feta or barbecue chicken and blue cheese. Mmm...'za. I would kinda like to go out with people for 'za tonight, but I really ought to do some planting, make some tea, and shower. And I'm going out tomorrow with people. Yay, socialism! Uh, I mean, socialization. I mean socializing. You know...
Want pizza. Bad Laura. Bad, bad, bad. I also want knitting. Waah. I will just have to take up my cheapo practice yarn, knit up a few swatches, and practice sewing seams. At least it'll give me something to do. And let's face it...any knitting is fun!

'za
Date: 2004-04-13 06:56 am (UTC)I love pizza with pepperoni, but then, I can't have cheese on it, so that's a major part of the cholesterol missing right there.
Oh, great, now I know what I have to make for dinner tonight...
Re: 'za
Date: 2004-04-13 07:08 am (UTC)Bollocks. It's because I have raging PMS. :) Ordinarily I'd say you're right, but this is just hormonal madness. Like the many other things I am currently craving.

Date: 2004-04-13 07:22 am (UTC)Well, yes. But the pizza would make that feel better, is what I'm saying.
Heh heh...the other cravings...hee. Gods, I'm glad that was two weeks ago. This spring will be hell.
