i just realized I posted about this on Facebook, and also on bettas, but not here on my own journal. On Wednesday evening, I went to PetSmart and used the gift card pierceheart had given me for Yule to buy a new betta! He's a male crowntail betta, and I've named him Sid Fishous. Say hi, Sid!

They're great! They're so pretty that it's fun to watch them. They even have personality. :) If you want to get one, I advise taking a look at bettas. Their info page has links to some quality sites that can tell you about the care needed.

I had a yellow cichlid named Sid Fishous. Actually, it was "Rev. Sid Fishous" as he was initiated to the First Degree by the Correllians. I still have his patch. Never could figure out exactly how to get him to wear it.
