I keep getting just a little teary-eyed once or twice a day, thinking about pierceheart leaving. I imagine I'll have one good cry the night before he leaves, and another after I've said goodbye to him.

I'm already warning friends that I expect to have a Defcon 1-level meltdown in a few weeks. Oh, I'll be weepy now and then before and after he leaves, but I'll manage...until someone bumps into me the wrong way, or asks me to pass the salt, or something equally inconsequential and unrelated. Then tsunami.
