Annoying, and a violation of privacy, but I'm not terribly worried. There's an awful lot of blogs out there for them to monitor, and as they said, it's hard to authenticate what's put in them--how, other than keywords, could they really know who to watch? Or whether that person is a "threat"? I'm not personally worried either. My blog is mostly personal, not terribly interesting as far as politics. I stopped being really antsy about all this after I got over the idea that I was on an FBI list for potential troublemakers because I joined NERO 13 years ago. Ok, they think I'm a Satanist or something. Do they really care about what I do? I really doubt it.
That was pretty much my opinion. It's a bad thing to do because it tramples on the rights of people, but I am not worried they're coming for me personally. I'm more worried about what this means our government is like.
Live action role-playing, fantasy middle ages stuff (live D&D, for lack of better imagery). Lots of fun, but there are better games out there now. Not playing anymore, though. Too much stupidity with the groups I used to play with.

i think of this as like email, only *slightly* more private. just slilghtly.
i still would never write anything that i wouldn't mind being a headline on the NY Times. 'cause it might be.
