Evil computer of dooooooom!

I hate not having the internet at home. I hate not being able to chat with pierceheart most of all. I nagged the roomie to try a new network card in it today. Hopefully he'll do it soon, and that will work.

It's not so much that I'm a net junkie. I'm just a communication junkie. If I could talk to pierceheart, I wouldn't miss the instant messaging. As it is, I feel all cut off. E-mails are one thing. Conversations are another.

It would also be nice not to have 20 e-mails to sort through in the morning when I get to work.

*sigh*

Ok, self-pity over, time to work.

Billy found out that was what was keeping me from being able to get online at home. I'm just glad it wasn't the computer. This thing may be old and a bit creaky, but it still does everything I need just fine. Now I need to get a new network card, since I'm just borrowing Billy's temporarily. He's a
good roomie.
