Friday night birthday dinner

I am going to try to make reservations for Friday night at Zuma in Faneuil Hall, as I've heard good reviews from friends about it. Now what I need is a party size. If y'all could let me know who will definitely be there and what TIME you could make it, I'd be very grateful. :)

As far as I know, tigira and lindalee can both make it, but soon after will have to go to a party hosted by one of those people who everyone always seems surprised that I don't know in spite of having met him on several occasions.

dee_cee, you expressed an interest, right? How about your man?

witchyspyce sounded interested. So did pir and leenah. wench33, you had babysitting problems, right? Is that a no-go? dolphindream and ayalanya sounded like they might be interested.

Anyone else? So far, counting everyone I mentioned here but the Wench (who I think couldn't make it) and erik_j_meyer (who hasn't said anything yet), this makes 9. geoogo, you and cutieyum, you should know you're invited. You too, tisana and deadwinter. All a' y'all in the Somerville ghetto I know and love, you got an e-mail about this too. So let me know! Any other of my local friends, if you want to come, please tell me! I will be happier the more people show. :) I will need a final headcount by tomorrow evening, I think, so...don't sit on it!

Ok, so I just gave Zuma's a call. There is now a reservation there under my first name for 7:30pm Friday evening. I made it for 14 people, which I think was the total number that are likely to show up, or have said they think they might. If some people tell me it's a no go, I can just call the restaurant and decrease the number with them.

Yay! I'm so excited. I can't remember the last time I really got to be with so many people I like for my birthday. Seriously, the closest I've had in years to a birthday party was last year at the winter Flea, which kinda sucked as some of my friends were in rotten moods (not their fault, of course) and about half of them kept running away after I saw them for a few seconds, due to the sheer number of people they knew there. This will be such a nice change. :)

It's a little pathetic that I'm this excited about it, I know, but it's just been so long since I had a good birthday! And there are people likely to be there who I haven't seen in ages, too. :)

So, witchyspyce, tigira, and anyone else who wants to meet up early...where should we go for drinks?
