Update

So my landlady tried calling the plumber after 7am. He didn't answer. She left a message, but hasn't heard back from him. Then she said she would come over herself with a snake at 9:30. I went out to Diesel to pee and get coffee in the meantime.

Just now, the landlady called and told me she remembered had a 10am appointment and wouldn't be able to make it here until after that. Sometime between 11:30 and noon, she said. OY VEY.

I don't want to have to keep running down to Davis every time I need to pee for the next two and a half hours, but it looks as though I have no choice.

I may not even get in to work today. I have SERIOUS doubts about whether she'll be able to do anything with that snake.

Yeah, I gave in and did. And at least it being the tub, it's easy to wash.

How strange. We were up until 3am waiting for an emergency plumber last night. It was very hot yesterday and people were running their air conditioners. Apparently, the condensation drain for the A/C in the apartment above us empties into a pipe UNDER OUR BATHROOM SINK!!! The pipe wasn't actually connected to anything and, presto, flooded bathroom.

I have SERIOUS doubts about whether she'll be able to do anything with that snake.

...If I had a nickel.

And leenah has had issues with a blocked tub drain this week.

Man, we are having freakishly cold weather these days, and no need for the A/C. It's about 60 out there now.
